if Vthongdara ever stopped posting on this board I would immediatley decapitate myself with a weed trimmer because life would no longer be worth living.
What's this about MadMax picking up the check for lunch and tacos? I wish I would've known that when we had lunch at Yao's. I don't usually go to threads because of the poster but because of the topics although there are a lot of posters who I usually find pretty interesting to read and debate with. Once the tanking talk took over in the GARM I stopped checking it out so much so I don't have any favorites in the GARM. In the Stros' threads I find MadMax and Bobrek's posts interesting and I wish I knew half of what those guys know about baseball. In Hangout I always get a kick out of Fatty Fat Bastards food posts. Unfortunately I'm one of those people who spend way too much time in the D & D so I feel I know the D & D denizens better. Most of the posters there I enjoy reading but I always tip my hat to Rhester for being someone that we can all learn from for internet forum decorum. Some of the posters who I've had some pretty big disagreements with I respect like Hayesstreet, Grizzled and ROXRAN because they've really made me think. As far as favorite BBS matchups I thought the T_J vs RM95 / Major matchup was pretty funny as T_J obsessed over whether RM95 was really Major. The Creepyfloyd vs HayesStreet matchup is kind of interesting largely because I don't know who root for. Before I forget I gotta add I always enjoy theGary's photoshop posts.
Oh yah, that huge Iran thread is quiet entertaining. I personally read any thread that interests me and give everyone an equal share of my time. I don't have anyone on an ignore list even if they annoy me, I try not to shut out those whom I disagree with. But two of my favorite posters on the BBS are MadMax and rhester. That Sishir guy is not bad either. I like KingCheetah vs. tinman rivalry, these are two of the most entertaining posters on the BBS. Oh, and for some odd reason I find TMac640 pretty funny, his posts never make sense but are still funny. Otherwise, there's not much more left to say...oh... BRAD LIDGE SUX!
I love each and every one of you, because no matter what, we all have one thing in common: We're Houston Rockets' fans!
I've met RM95 at a few local music shows, but I've never met Major at any of them. Coincidence? I don't think so. I suspect they are the same person.
finalsbound, meggoleggo, akperez, rubytuesday so I can size up the competition... just kidding, I mean see what the other girls in here are thinking. The funny ones. thadeus, The Real Shady, A-Train (gets extra points for being a Cake fan), ima_drummer2k (gets extra points for being my fellow percussionist) The ones who have been around for a while and who seem to stand out. Manny Ramirez, RM95, Sishir Chang, Falcons Talon, RocketMan Tex, moestavern19, and no doubt a whole bunch of others I'm forgetting. The ones who are suspected of producing BS, so I can read their posts and see whether I believe them this time. No names.
I pretty much live in the Astros, Texans, comets forum. Madmax, BuckT, RM95, Major, DaDakota, Bobrek, The real Shady, Jugdish, Nick, Codell, Uprising, and Vecseysux are all good posters in that forum even if i don't agree with them always.
I don't venture in the GARM like I used to... but back in the day, it was Smeg, RM95, MadMax, Jeff, Cabbage, popeye, HeyP, and Doc Rocket (before the cryptic posts that cause mass hysteria, and gazillion responses). Nowadays, whenever one of those guys who are still around posts something, I'll most definitely be following it. I stick with the Astros forum now basically because it has the same feel of the original Rockets BBS... before it became inundated with espn message-board-like lunacy. Countless good topics... good game discussion... and a good team to talk about. The hangout is still great... I love the randomness of topics, so there are no favorites... just keep on comin up with new stuff that I'd never hear about anywhere else (like Gwigle), or the countless polls, countless "whats in the cd player, what's for lunch", and countless reviews of tv shows/movies that are interesting.
I love how that just got multiple quick responses. Also, I've been reading Antisonic's posts lately because I think the random Undertake pictures are hilarious.
