Realize the healing time depends on the severity of the corneal scratch. I got scratched during a game...it took 2 1/2 days of closed eyes and sitting at home to heal.

However, you can also put some steroid drops into the eye to anesthetize the pain for a short time (~20 mins). I guess if this were a playoff game, they'd have done that every so often during the game. It's definitely bad long-term though...plus it messes with vision and light reactivity. So I see why they didn't do it now

Stro is looking at all the pretty lights of the Toyota center. Damn that ADD.

Not smart, but it was a day where I had to appear...

I've had abrasions and erosions before so I'm used to them. For corneal erosions, doctors usually prescribe Vicodin along with treatment to subdue the pain.

Absolutely do not put steroid eye drop into your eye when you have a corneal scratch, it will prolong the healing and the simple scratch will likely develop into a full-blown infection. Then you'll really mess up your eye.

I believe it was when we played Denver, he got his contact swatted out of his eye, and somehow still made the free throws.

I would be happy if in the next few days that Stro is traded for players like Al Jefferson, David West or anyone in the mold of those two (young ang promising PF's) :p

I had my eye scratched ten years ago. When my eye gets dry I still feel it.

How about Darko? I think David West is overrated. He's an upgrade to Baxter is all I see. And there's no way we get Jefferson for Stro.

Darko may not be possible either. But as another year goes by and he's riding the pine, his value has to be dropping.

I'm just sayin, doing it to let you finish a playoff game..might be an option ;) Definitely not suggesting it to anyone as something to help in general.
