My favorite adopted team for the rest of the season is Denver now. They played very smart bball against the Fakers 2nite - made me a very happy person by beating LA in LA and w/ Shaq. I hope the Nugz go on a nice run now and help us get some more ping-pong balls. By the way, is it just me, or is James Posey like the best kept secret in the league?? Dude is solid.
Posey's getting there. Dude definately plays better as a 2-guard, which is kind of surprising why he did so well last night. Played more of a 3 all night, but really stepped it up. It seems like Poz always has some really hot runs near the middle and end of the season, but has trouble keeping it consistent. He'll have a great run, and then have a game where he's 1-for-8 and has 3 points. Kind of wierd. But with his defensive intensity and the way he crashes the boards, I don't care. Poz is a stud.
A rule of thumb: Always expect the Nuggets to beat the Lakers as long as Van Exel is on their roster. Van Exel always seems out to punish his former team. He's never gotten over being traded. (That would be great if they ever meet them in the playoffs.)
BlastOff makes a good point. For some reason, be it Van Exel or whatever, the last few years we've always hung tough with teh Lakers. Sure, we've been blown out once or twice, but compared to all the other contenders in the NBA, we're the most successful against the Lakers. I just love beating the Lakers at home and sending all the pretenders with their Kobe jersey's home unhappy!
what has become of the world when im rooting for houston to win and rocket fans are rooting for denver to win.
ok first of all, doritos were never mentioned last night. 2nd of all, cool ranch doritos are nasty. nacho cheese far better.
