I went to the game tonight and I didn't see Mo. He wasn't even on the bench. Anyone know where he is/was? KT wasn't even there, but there was someone in street clothes on the bench who I didn't recognize. Also, Nachbar seemed to have an icepack or something on his left side. Maybe he is injured?

On another note, the place was pretty packed. About 13k people there to see that pathetic performance. Andre Miller played a great game and Stevie had a bad game. I am wondering if his headaches have come back because his decision making has been pretty bad lately. But I am a Rockets fan and not going to demand a trade when we have a couple of bad games.

That was no icepack -- it was a sixpack. Boki knows Rudy's never going to let him play, so he's resorted to getting plastered at the end of the bench.

Yes, I think it's been posted oh, I don't know about 4 million times in the past few months in reference to Mo, so I'm sure everyone's gotten it. Apparently, it's still humorous in some circles.

Hey Everybody, I thought I'd resurrect this thread to share my thoughts on MoT given this KennyT trade.

After watching last nite's game against the Pacers, my feeling is that MoT has a definitive place on this team, that got further solidified by the KT trade. If you look on the roster and figure the approx "density" of each player (i.e. weight/per inch heigh), you'll discover that MoT is probably the biggest if not second biggest behind Cato. All our clamoring about Yao needin' a "thug" for a PF have been solved.

    Our Resident Thugee IS MoT!!!

He sure as heck as the size. Perhaps his point output will suffer a little, but on this team, we have more than enough, and STRONGER, offensive weapons at our disposal than MoT. From the game, I esp liked how MoT helped "move" Yao into position on an inbounds play. On another play where Yao got raked by B. Miller, MoT was one of the first to come over and "shield" Yao.

I sincerely think MoT has a natural spot on this roster. Heck, even Posey is a lightweight by any standard. A team can't be complete w/o some rough and tumble guys and I think MoT is our man.

Moreover, it's only a matter of time before more teams recognize Yao for the offensive force that he is, and despite Yao's great FT shooting, YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT MORE TEAMS WILL GO TO THE PAT RILEY "ROUGH'M UP" GAME PLAN Therefore, we definitely need big healthy bodies on this team. Cato is already fantastic, but if MoT can come in and be our "physical" weapon... then all is well in RocketLand.

The other point I'd mention is that hopefully this KT trade REAFFIRMS Mo's sense of confidence, as bequeathed by Rocket mgmt, upon MoT. No matter how hard MoT has worked to get back into "shape", there is no greater challenge than reestablishing one's confidence. MoT should really look to "adjust" his game to compliment our core right now. It simply doesn't make sense for him or the team to maintain expectations that he is a 10 pt/ppg kind of guy. MoT's best contributions will be off the stat sheet hustle plays. If he can be a "presence" and box out people and negate any opposing physical play, MoT will not only be a force, but also a great contributor to this team.

This is what we're missing and MoT can definitely be that guy.
