What are you talking about? Every great player is selfish? I don't think Yao has to be very aggressive to be an effective player. I am suspecting that Shaq being the most dominant player right now makes people feel that it is the best way to be an effective center, that is to play with shaq-like physical aggressiveness. Yao is just a different type of center, and he seems to play best when he is not forcing the actions too much.

I personally dont thin he needs to be a Shaq-like beast, I would settle for him being agressive in taking his shots.....which is what I think the thread starter means. In other words....when getting the ball, dont wait for the double to come and then pass...shoot before the double comes.
