    can't help but to complain

can't help but to complain. now that rafer and wafer didn't log in any minutes, where is steve? even head got 6 mins of playing time, wouldn't steve be at least better than head in every category? is it becuase of adleman's personal hate? or is steve really that out of shape ?

Quick question. Ask this to yourself. If Rick Adelman was satisfied with the performance Steve has during his practices, his physical conditioning and how he gels with the rest of the team in scrimmage... don't you think he'd get some PT in games when R/Wafer didn't see PT. There's a reason for it and if there WAS a personal hate issue, then I'm sure Stevie wouldn't even be dressed out. They'd make an injured Dorsey dress just incase Yao/Scola/Hayes/Landry get fouled out.

Steve is not in shape to play in a game, simple as that. He just finished his rehab and just began practicing, give the man some time............

I'll tell you why Steve didn't play or why he hasn't played and why he won't play...it's simple...he sucks. At this point of career, Wafer and (yes) head are better. The question should be: why in the hell is Steve even on the roster?

If Steve Francis ever plays in a game again for the Rockets, consider it found money.

Adelman doesn't hate him. He's already down a man to stay under the cap. Then you have Wafer, Rafer, Dorsey, and Barry already hurt and not expected to play. At this point, not including Francis, you only have 9 players available. Not to mention the fact that Artest, McGrady, and Battier have all been hurt and are just coming back from injuries - who knows if any of the three pull up lame in any given game.

If Francis was in any type of shape, he would be given a chance.

francis will probably start playing games in january or the end of this month. dont know what to expect of him if he can play again. if he can be half the player he was he can get in the rotation but i dunno how cuz brooks is good enough to backup the 2 and we have barry/wafer to backup the 2. they can cut down minutes to get steve in the rotation which shouldnt be a problem.

I think it's clear by now that Steve is done as a productive NBA player. He is now only a marginal NBA player and a marginer NBA player typically only plays in the garbage time. And as a veteran and a former all-star, Steve Francis should not be used as a player to fill in for garbage time and Rick Adelman apparently agrees. Hence Steve ain't playing.

The rockets beat a very good (leading their division) Denver team and you want to complain that sf3 isn't getting any minutes?!?

    Give me a break.

True. It would be a bit long though, and doesn't have a particularly good flow to it.

This board has a lot of consistent and clutch whiners... Maybe there's something in that...

Actually I'm confused as well. Everyone assumes that Francis is still injured but I'm thinking there's also a slight chance it's just Adelman's stubborness rearing its ugly head. Maybe anyone who watches the games live can look at how Francis behaves the next game. If he's smiling and laughing and having fun on the bench he's sitting out because he's still injured/sux. If he's pouting and sulking and looking depressed and frustrated, then its probably because he knows he can play and is just in Ra's doghouse.

However, let me say that Ra did play Francis last season, and although he reinjured himself right after he did not disappoint with the opportunities he got. Logically, Francis has already proven he can still contribute to this team and I see no reason for RA to bench Francis if he can actually already play.

Steve Francis, like McBain, is sitting on top of a pile of money, with many beautiful ladies.
