I haven't seen MJ on the bench the last 2 games is he trade bait waiting to be traded. I told everyone this dude is a head case waiting to happen.
He stayed home to be there for the birth of his child. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/5476924.html
I'm just having fun, but we all know MJ is ticked that he isn't getting any run and AB and Luther is snatching his minutes. MJ is mental though. Dude has shot clock in his head that tells him it's his turn to shoot and boy does he pay attention to the clock in his head. Yao could have Steve Nash posted up and MJ would pull up with 25 footer.
Not that we need him nowadays but let me rest and have more family time especially when his wife is in delivery. This may make him realise that he need to play better to stay in Houston.
Mike James will be valuable in playoffs, I'm sure. Until then he needs to get in rotation, he plays good, he scored over 15 few times this season but also head 0 p games.
Why? In theory trading for him was an excellent idea. We needed a quick, explosive finisher with range on his shot. MJames fits the bill. Not to mention, in hindsight if Juwan was still here he'd be sucking up valuable developmental minutes for Scola and Landry. So it looks like trading for him is not going to work out. Whether you attribute that to him being washed up, Adelman using him improperly or him being a JVG-style player....your opinion, your world. All I know is things could be a whole hell of a lot worse.
Mike hasn't been getting playing time, we all know that, his wife has had quite a few problems while carrying this child. She has been put on bed rest under strict doctors orders and it has been very worrisome to Mike. Yes it is their fourth child but the other pregnancies have been pretty much worry free compared to this one. Ya he can fly home anytime but with the up and down condition of Angela you never know what is going to happen. If Mike was in the regular rotation I'm sure concessions would be made and he may not be home the whole road trip but with his current situation I think he made a good decision. It may give him some time to to refocus. I know alot of you guys think Mike is just sitting back counting his contract money but it bothers him deeply about his current status with the rockets,,,a guy with as much competetive fire as Mike doesn't take this type of situation lightly,,, FWIW,,,that is what I know of his situation,,,
I remember back in the day when you were telling everyone that MJ was a head case, but no one would freaking listen.
i say we trade mj to minny for gerald green. minnesota said they werent goin exercise his option adn he can t get no pt there, and both sides are ready for him to go elsewhere. bring gerald green here and let him learn under tmac.
