It is clear he is in a holding pattern as he waits for the Melo trade. Whether we are a partner in the trade or the eventuall winner, he can not make any trades that would jeopardize the deal for Melo. I suspect he will quickly make a deal if we are not involved. But to trade a piece now that might be needed to complete a deal would be insane. So expect fireworks and more tweets after Melo is traded.

I remember before the trade deadline last year, Morey tweeted this about a soon to be traded Joey Dorsey: Boosted his stock? Not likely, but interesting nonetheless.
I don't think there is another team in the league that could have gone through the T-mac fiasco and the Yao injuries and still have a decent team and assets we have. Morey is a great GM and we are lucky to have him. Too many expect us to land a superstar when the reality is those are hard to come by. I'm thankful to have a team that entertaining to watch and I think moves will be made once the Melo sweepstakes are over.
It's not his fault our franchise player is fragile. He's put us in position to make a deep run ever since he's taken over.
