    Where will he be buried?

I don't think an athlete has ever been as hated in his home state as LBJ is in Ohio. People can forgive him for leaving, but their anger for the way he did it may last forever.

Discussion worthy? Maybe not, but a quandary to be sure. The story gets more interesting tomorrow night.

Bury him in Boston, because that's the team that kills him every year.

To seriously answer your question, I don't think the hate will be so strong in 50+ years when Lebron is likely to pass away that people will protest a funeral in Ohio. But, who knows...

I've never seen so much hate stem from a basketball decision. Traitor to the city of Cleveland? Those people are morons to even think LeBron was staying. As soon as he turned down a five year resigning deal, that's when you know. He's not staying.

City stayed in denial, and finally unleashed its rage when LeBron did what everyone expected him to do: leave, albeit in a cruel way. I mean come on, there is no escaping from Cleveland's mediocrity as a sports city. Every team that has is based in Cleveland or has ever been based in Cleveland, sucks.

LeBron spoiled them in terms of showing Cleveland what a good team looks like, and in Cleveland's desperation they spoiled and pampered LeBron basically begging him to stay.

I think when he dies, peeps will say "Bury him here. He was born here, he should be buried here", but after a while will go vandalize it... 'cuz that was their plan.

People arent mad at why he left...they are mad at how he went about it.

Thats why he's hated, not only in Cleveland, but all across America.

You think Cleveland would have reacted differently had LeBron not done the decision? Those fans are desperate, either way it would have resulted in similar results in Cleveland.

Maybe hate from across the country wouldn't be as prevalent, but Cleveland's reaction probably wouldn't change.

I don't hate him for "The Decision". He used to be my fav player....love those guys that can "do it all", but his special isn't why I hate him now. I can certainly respect why he did what he did....gets to be with a couple buddies and have a legit contending team for a long time. I prefer the player who leads his team himself though....all he did was throw his pride away.

You may not hate him for the decision, but millions do...and its not only about the "decision"...its about how he never communicated with anyone from the Cavs organization about his thoughts and feelings regarding free agency. Thats incredibly disrespectful to an organization that had provided him with so much.

LeBron was an immature diva through the entire process.

Sure, they'd still not be a big fan of his, but the hatred that has been created is far worse had he been upfront and honest with the Cavs organization from the get go. Everyone from the owner down to the assistant coaches was completely out of the loop until "The Decision"...which was a complete joke.

I think everyone who knows basketball around the world would feel the same way. I will call a couple peeps in MEXICO I know to see what the sentiment is over there, but I am more than sure they wouldn't like for Nájera to do this.

OT somewhat: I want professorjay (or someone else knowledgeable) to compare LeBron with Art Modell and tell us which one is more hated by sports fans in Cleveland. Also considering the LeBron issue is more fresh, what about long term?

    Just curious.

    And millions don't

America's going down the drainers when we let hate dictate how we act towards someone after his death.

he's a grown man, he made his bed and now has to lie in it. you could chalk up "the decision" to immaturity but to me it speaks to his character. he is one of the most self-absorbed pieces of sh$t i have ever seen. there is nothing to forgive, he will never live this down, it's done.
