I 100% agree. I understand the first three guesses because they were clearing pronouncing it Philman. But the Ripa/Reepa ordeal is just a bunch of BS because it's a proper name. And also, I think once you get every letter on the board, the puzzle has already been solved. Add the idiots at WOF to my list of idiots of this world. As if these military men sit and watch Regis and Kelly during the day I bet Pat Sajak and his producer can't pronounce Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab correctly. This actually pisses me off

I heard this on Jim Rome the other day on my way to work. His take was pretty funny. Rules are rules, I guess.
There was a Wheel of Fortune fail thread last month...I put this clip in that one too. <embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:cms:item:southparkstudios.com:155459" width="480" height="400" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="window" flashVars="autoPlay=false&dist=www.southparkstudios.com&orig=" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" allownetworking="all" bgcolor="#000000"></embed>
I love the lady laughing in the background of the first video. She sounds like she is dying. That's what got me. I agree about the pronounciation being somewhat irrelevant, because in all actuality, I don't expect our troops to have any sort of focus on morning talk shows. Kelly and old-ass Regis are irrelevant in comparison to worldly concerns and national security.
