I think he's struggling with his shots is that he is dribbling before he starts to shoot, he is taking way too long for the defense to collapse in on him. He needs to go back to where he takes the ball and then immediatly turn around with a jumpshot or hookshot.
His shot? More like his defense. All he does it stand there wailing his arms while Boozer posterizes him. He needs to learn to jump. That small vertical cancels out his height. Yao is a wuss and soft and thats all he is ever going to be so we have to live with it.

He's definitely a liability in the court if he cannot make his shots. All our runs happened when he was not in the court. JVG should just pull him off in the second half.
