Did ANYONE see LeBron's dunk where he posed mid dunk!? That was hilarious. Yet scary. That man is a freak of nature. He was dunking down everything. Seriously it's almost a rarity if he doens't dunk when he's around the basket...
for anyone that didn't catch it, here's lebron's dunk while posing: <object width="480" height="295"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/idSUEs1XKVk&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/idSUEs1XKVk&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="295"></embed></object>
Meeting the Cavs in the Finals would be a favorable scenario for the Rockets. As great as LeBron is, alternatively throwing Artest and Battier against him in defense would keep him in check. And without Lebron taking over the series, Cavs can be easily beaten. Boston, on the other hand, is a more complete team.
That is EXACTLY what I first thought. They played it on ESPN in the highlights. I guess they played in slow-motion because I thought it was longer than it was. The dunk was still amazing but I though he held the pose longer. ESPN's camera angles were much better. They showed you one where he was facing the camera. His face was priceless LOL. What a pose.
The Cavs aren't as good as people think they are. They remind me of the Rockets last year when they were winning 22 in a row. We all know how that turned out. They're still not as good as Boston, LA, Houston, SA, or NO. LeBron lovers can harp all they want but all you have to do is look at their schedule to see who they've beaten. They haven't faced a single elite team and beaten them. They even got beat by NO, and the Hornets are not playing as well as they were last year. I think Chandler had just come back from injury as well. I'm not a big believer in the Cavs just yet. Till they beat a good team, that is.
They're blowing out the team they're supposed to beat. We aren't. So, how can you say we're as good as them right now?
A win is a win. You're supposed to beat up on the weak teams. But if you beat them suddenly you're overrated. Wonder what happens if the Cavs were to lose those same games then? It's a no win scenario for people with your logic.
just saw the cavs highlights today, wow lebron was just stealing and flying around for dunks He is from another planet!
+1. Gotta give credit where credit is due even if it is for taking caring of business and beating teams your supposed to beat. The crazy thing is LeBron is playing limited minutes in some of these games and the Cavs are still pounding other teams in blowout fashion. It's also surprising how well the Cav's have made the addition of Mo Williams work out. I wasn't sure that he would fit in well when the trade happened. Looks good so far.
Lebron is great, but he's getting better. Maybe not statistically, but he's gained a lot of experience in the last two seasons. It's scary, but he's probably going to get even better. This is most likely not even his prime. As for discrediting the Cavs because of their schedule, that just seems like hating. For the most part, they've been destroying the weak teams which is what they're suppose to do. The best teams do that and do not lose to teams they should beat. I love the Rockets, but we're not there yet. We've lost games we should've won. The Cavs deserve credit.
lebron went down 5 notches in my book at least for imitating karla get your ish straight lebron NEVER do anything like that if you ever want to be a winner in this league
I'm not really that excited about the highlight reel dunks on the break with no one around (although it is fun to watch) but I am really starting to like Lebron as a player. I was never a huge Lebron fan but this season he is a much better player. He has improved in everything that i disliked about him before. He's a better defender and he's learning the difference between being a good passer and a good playmaker. He used to give someone a nice feed for a finish around the rim, now he is reading the defense and getting the ball to the right person regardless of if that leads to an assist. There is no player playing anywhere near his level in the NBA now.
To hell with the Cavs. If Ray Allen keeps shooting like he is shooting so far, the rest of the league is in trouble....
It is not just the MoW difference. It is..... .... Lebron keeps getting better as a team player with greater realization of what he can do .... They are healthy (Gibson, Z), free of distraction (Verejo contract sit) and getting used to each other (BW, WS and DW didn't have full seasons) .... Delonte West is giving them very efficient 2 guard play. .... They have added some extra scoring punch in Mo W. MoW is just one of many factors coming together, it is is hardly his stellar PG play. At 1.98 he is behind James, West and Gibson in A/TOs. MW however is an excellent fit on that team because he doesn't have to be a stellar traditional PG and can be a tweener with a scoring punch. These Cavs are tough, and IMO if Boston sticks with the same roster they have now Cleveland will beat them in the playoffs. (that is why I say both teams should go after Bell from the BCats)
