i'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas about why langhi isn't getting more play time. Don't u guys think that he deserves a little more time ...well aleast more then the collier guy. if there is already another thread about this then ...mybad! ------------------
In today's Chronicle, Rudy said he wanted to give Langhi more p.t. He hasn't looked real comfortable so far, so maybe that's why Rudy's bringing him slowly. Collier, on the other hand is getting more pt because Hakeem got hurt. It's like Kenny last year. He got virtually 0 minutes until the injuries started piling up. Barring injury, I don't think either rookie will see much more than garbage time until well into the season. ------------------
The last two seasons have spoiled us- Dickerson, Mobley, KT, Francis all making major contributions right away. This is not how it's traditionally done. Rookies sit, sit, and then sit some more. Langhi and Collier should be on the bench. This team isn't going to challenge for the title this season. This is the team of the future. Think long term, guys. ------------------

We have reached the point where we will need role players to go with the team we have, or do you want to try to keep players on the bench that should be starting and still have chemistry on the team? yeah, this year (knock wood) our rooks are going to fall much more into the traditional rookie roles and not HAVE to step up as much. (remember we don't have the ROTY this year.) ------------------
