Does Sessions become a restricted free agent this offseason? Otherwise, he isn't going to be much help for us. A great prospect, but there's really not much point in renting a 2nd year player for half a season. And Jefferson has a bad contract. He is not worth 14 million a year through 2011.
IDK, just have the fealing that the Lakers kind of paid what happened last year in the playoffs against the Celtics and thought they could need a guy like Artest in the Finals. Another guess was Ramon Sessions but since the Bucks don't have any backup its unlikely...
And who really wants ron artest right now. Are we really going to get better by dealing him half way into the season.
Wait they were talking about Ron for Nash? Okay, i don't think he's the answer to all our problems but that would be a steal.
In the same blog entry where Solomon hinted about a trade he also mentions Nash is not on the trade block.
And yet I ask you(from my "horrible GM" perspective i might add) what the hell makes you think that for all the reasons you stated above the Suns would ever consider this trade when they have already said everyone BUT Nash is available. Nash has 1 more year on his contract, so their going to trade him for the "Ball Stopper" that you speak of? But what do I know
ron + rafer + head for nash and fillers. it's official - at least enough for bspn to start another rumor, lol.
But can Yao and Nash be the differense when you don't even know if your other star (Tracy) is even going to play or out for the season. I personally think if they are talking about "winds of change coming" they are talking about T-Mac. Can the rockets gamble the season on T-Mac.
Greatest pure shooter. For his career, Nash shoots 49% from the field, 43% from the the 3-point line, and 90% from the free throw line. I'd put him, Mark Price, Reggie Miller, Ray Allen, Rick Barry, and a few others in the conversation. And can't forget about Steve Novak.
Everyone who is looking to dump salary is going to want him. Some teams that want to rebuild look at other players contracts. Wait til next season. EVERYONE is going to want to trade for McGrady because of his huge contract expiring.
he said we'd be happy. nobody would make me happy from the adelman years in sacramento. MAYBE peja would...hedo and gerald wallace too. thats about it
That's correct. It would be foolish for the Suns to agree to such a trade. And it would be equally foolish for the Rockets not to agree to it.
Here's one guy whose name has been in the news, but not in connection with the Rockets: Tyson Chander. If he's quick enough to cover 4s, he would be a nice part of a big man rotation. Now the Rockets have a big problem with matching up when Yao sits.
