If its a PG which isn't in the actual trade talks AND is a "unknown star", then I'm thinking of one of these guys: *Steve Blake *T.J. Ford *Derek Fisher (hey the Lakers love Artest - even though Fisher isn't a "star") *Beno Udrih
Okay Nash gets our wing players open on the perimeter, but have you seen how nash plays with Shaq?? They do not co-exist very well, Nash likes an athletic big man to play with, and we have Yao and Scola. Which by the way is the exact opposite. LOL So he probably would make Carl Landry a mainstay on ESPN's Top 10 with some amazing dunks he would not fit with our half court inside-out style.
Richard Jefferson probably wouldnt help this team in real life but he would make the Rockets BEASTLY on NBA-2K9! That guy dunks everything! LOL
the "focus" of their offense?????? he averages just under 30 minutes a game! How is that the focus of the offense??? hes not out there for almost 20 minutes every game. He is the focus when HES ON THE COURT but i watch Suns games all the time on FullCourt and everyone in Phoenix knows he doesnt like the slow it down pace Shaq makes them run
The Suns, even with Shaq, have been a very good offensive team. Virtually every team Nash has been on in recent memory has been a top 8 offensive team -- and many have been top 1 or 2. The Rockets haven't been a top 10 offensive team since I don't know when. What's the number one weakness on this team? We don't have a PG who's a consistent scoring threat and is a knock down shooter. With Nash, you're getting quite possibly the greatest pure shooter in the history of the league. And can you imagine how good he'd be running the pick and roll with Scola or Landry? We think Scolandry is good now -- he'd make them twice as good.
Don't have a clue of who would make us happy but who will going out is the one I would like to know. Just 7 more days till the 19th.
same with yao, who is playing 32 some minutes a game. big difference? and check out shaq's stats. surprisingly good.
