Realistically, what's his value in the open market. I've heard some seriously ridiculous trade rumors surrounding Cato.

Personally, Cato is a middle of the Tier basketball player with an inflated contract.

Maybe Cato if in the Draft this year may go in the top 10 but that's it. That's not saying too much for a guy that was drafted 15 only 2 or so years ago. An NBA experienced center with 2+ years experience and with size. Ouch how much can he slack off more.

    Cato just hasn't improved much.

So, where are all these rumors of Cato for McDysee and the likes coming?

WHAT WOULD YOU GIVE UP FOR CATO? WHAT? NOT MUCH FOR SURE!

Understand this...if you ask for the half-eaten popsicle, you'll never be able to move Cato. Don't push the envelope...take the donuts!!

How is he supposed to improve when he can't get any time? It's a little hard to improve when you have great players in front of you. Grant and Wallace were both huge free-agent acquisitions that played ahead of Cato. This year was the first time he played real minutes, and he still only got 25 minutes a game.

TheFreak, Wallace was not a free agent. He got traded to Protland in the big Rod strickland trade. But, I think Grant was a free agent who signed with Portland.

Give Cato a chance I've seen him on a rare acation make some jams, but thats all he can do is JAM JAM JAM.

Why is it so dang hard to improve with two great players in front of you? It's common knowledge that great players are made in the offseason. Just cuz he didn't get a lot of PT in games doesn't mean he couldn't have worked on his game in practice and in the offseason, what he supposedly is doing right now.
