That's who I was going to mention. Toward the end he seemed to get really grumpy, and then one day just disappeared.

Yes. That's correct. The last time I posted as "drapg" was just before Hurricane Rita back in 2005. I lost power during that storm and it shorted out my computer that had my saved password for the "drapg" account. I tried to log back in with all the passwords I could think of on my new computer shortly afterwards, but nothing worked. I emailed Clutch asking if he could let me know what my password was or to reset it. I never heard back. I quit posting for a few years after that and concentrated on work. Then I randomly decided I wanted to post again - so I created this new moniker and began posting - thought at much lesser frequency than I once did...
When will we see this thread "What ever happened to DaDakota"? answer: probably never in our life time.
ZRB is another that I have wondered what happened to. The thing about the BBS is that there are so many people here now and some people have been here from the very beginning (which isn't that back in '97 and not '99?). So there are always going to be people who just quit posting because of life whether it was getting a new job, having a family or whatever. And then you have your diehards who are so loyal that they will never leave the site no matter what is going on in their personal lives. But I think that a lot of the people that we are talking about are still around, just not posting and the BBS can allow you to do that. It is so big that you can just sorta "disappear" into being a lurker and no one would ever know.
I thought he had moved to Colorado and had pretty much quit posting. But then again with him, you never know.
Ironically, I started posting again a few days ago when this thread surfaced... So I'll go ahead and post here too
I forgot he set that up. I sat near him when I had season tickets, and worked with the guy he shared season tickets with.
I mentioned this last night and I knew there was a thread that had this revelation in it. For the record, I don't really know if it is true but to be honest, I DON'T want to know the truth as I enjoy picturing studogg and Rocket River being the same guy. So....anybody figure out what's up with ima? He's even been goaded by drum solo threads and no bites. I hear the Police are doing a reunion tour........nothing. And although I was somewhat relieved when drapg fessed up to his new identity -- his disappearance could have been legendary. A final post as the lights go out during Katrina -- never to be heard of again. Somebody should have driven by his place when he didn't surface for a few months.
That's funny. I remembered that thread where you last posted during the storm, and since you never posted again after that some of us had thought something terrible had happened. Glad to see you're alive and well.
