I just finished Angels & Demons by Dan Brown and I need a new book. So whatcha readin' and what's it about?
Lolita. It's really, really great prose--I thought I'd heard it was a difficult read. Flows beautifully.
I'm reading the Wheel of Time. Yes... I'm a victom of pop-fantasy. At least it's much less than when I was in high school...
http://www.sounddoctrine.com/scripture.htm Oh, there's some crazy stuff, man. There's a dude in the bushes. Has he got a gun? I dunno! RED TEAM GO, RED TEAM GO.
I've read them all, and suddenly felt compelled to re-read them... about 1 year and a half ago... I'm currently about halfway through book 6, so obviously I'm taking my time...
The World They Made Together for my colonial history class about how blacks influenced white culture in 18th century Virginia. It's pretty good but then again most people loathe history.
Two absolutely GREAT books by author Mitch Albom: Tuesdays with Morrie The Five People You Meet in Heaven
"Dreadnought: Britain, Germany, and the coming of the Great War", by Robert K. Massie. Excellent history and a terrific read.
King of Foxes by Raymond E. Feist. Sequel to Talon of the Silver Hawk, and second book in the Conclave of Shadows series. Great, great, fantasy reading.
Wuthering Heights and Gulliver's Travels, both for English. I have a term paper to do on Jonathan Swift and Gulliver's Travels.
the snow garden by christopher rice. on the last 50 pages so got another book yesterday called goat by brad land.
