In the Whataburger commercial dude's voice..."Is it possible to fit a square peg into a round hole?" I only eat the special menu items at Whataburger, The Patty Melt, Honey BBQ Chicken sandwich and the A1 burger...all ordered on Texas Toast.
Meh, I was half joking. I've never even had In/Out and I can't remember the last time I had Whataburger. The Honey BBQ Chxn Strip is pretty good though, I really like their Taquitos and the burgers are pretty good at 4am if the situations calls for it. Nothing beats a good homemade burger. I think we can all agree on that. Lot of people touting Fuddruckers...I honestly didn't even know they were still around till I saw the one in Round Rock the other day. Haven't been in over a decade.
I know the 100% Anus Burger was unintentional, but it's not that inaccurate. Always thought Burger King's fries were better than Mcdonald's, but most people disagree. Sonic used to have great fries, but they changed them a few years ago and now they're consistently soggy, bland, and undercooked. Never could stand listening to people bad mouth fast food. We don't all live on the Food Network, where you spend two hours cooking something that'll be gone in ten minutes. Yes, it's unhealthy, but if I really cared I wouldn't eat it. Same thing when people tell me how bad cigarettes are, like I live under a rock.
Hubcap Grill in the Heights right down the street from Gatlin BBQ, extended hours and accepts debit cards.
Didn't use to be fat until I got an Italian girlfriend. She loves to cook. And no, I don't care about being healthy at all. I smoke (cigs and grass), I drink to excess, I've been in a gym maybe two hours total in my life, and I eat Whataburger whenever possible. I respect people who take care of themselves, but I'm not one of them. I'll die twenty years before I should, but I'm not convinced this ****'s worth sticking around for, anyway.
Damn this thread. Off to Whataburger for a #2 with no tomatoes, a Dr Pepper with no ice, and a side of gravy.
I moved to California, and asked where the nearest whataburger was. They looked at me with a blank stare, and I cried a little knowing that I left all the locations back in Texas! Who knew that it wasn't a national chain ?
