Personally, I've been on the fence with the whole Mcgrady issue. I've supported him in the past through all the relentless bashing but this season its definitely been hard with some of his antics. I'm a fan of TMac's skills moreso than of his personality but the team will always come before one player. The question I have is, what will you do if in 2 weeks Tracy returns 90%-100% rehabilatated and puts up the numbers we're use to? I think I would ride his contract out and go for one of the top free agents in 2010.
To me this is like the intermission of a bad movie, you are just praying that it all comes together in the end. DD
i have a vision that on May 2009 when the Rockets are in the finals and mcgrady makes the game winning shot that gets us a sweep over the Celtics/Cavaliers...we will look back at all this turmoil and say wow...what a ride, and this will be the most memorable rockets team in franchise history, battling through injuries, down times, and drama but came out as Champions at the end .... and they will make special dvds about our season and have specials about our season shown on NBATV...... hey, it could happen...
I was thinking more like Black Dahlia. By the time it all comes together you're so offended by the badness of the movie it doesn't even matter anymore. You just start looking for the parallels to Big Lebowski.
first off what do u mean by "numbers we're used to?" the numbers i'm used to are 7-17 for 20 points. really inefficient scoring like always.
If you've followed McGrady throughout his tenure in Houston, you should know that typically 25/5/6 on 42/43% shooting is what you could expect. Lately, not so much.
