I take back some of my negative comments toward Cuttino. The coaching staff played a big part in this loss. If Matt Bullard doesnt hit his first 2 shots he should be out of the game IMMEDIATELY. I just wish they had played Los more.

Mobleys mistake are magnified more, thats definitely true. I think the crowd can read Mobleys totall disregard given to his other teamates once the ball is in hsi posession. And I think thats why they did and we do come down on him a little harder than the rest of the guys. I mean it's obvious once Mobley touches the ball that it's either going in the hoop or it isnt. It's as simple as that. Theres not any effort on his part to acknowledge even the slightest of glances to one of his teamates once the ball is transfered to his hands and that makes him look more arrogant. And thats why its so annoying.

BTW, Mobley is still a bad ass mutha' in my book and his glorified time along with this teams will come, eventually.

I didn't get a chance to watch this game, but sounds like Mobley had quit a lot to do with the team losing again tonight. I just don't know what to say anymore.

you probably thought that from my overreaction. He wasnt the sole reason for the loss. Mo was horrible. Steve didnt read the 76'ers defense that well. Shandon quietly had a bad game. And the coaching staff had bad substitution patterns. TEAM LOSS tonight.

In no way am I blaming Cuttino. If any player (on either team) played a good game tonight, the game would not have even been close. Cuttino is no more responsible than anybody else on the Rockets (except for Cato and probably Langhi and Collier) [IMG].

But, in the first half, I wish to God that Cuttino didn't just settle for those jumpers. Confidence has NEVER been a problem for him--that's obvious. [IMG] But if the guy continues to fire away without making any moves to the basket, why not bench him? We have a terrific back-up guard in Mooch (who is not nearly as talented as Cuttino, but more than capable). Especially in that situation--we looked lost and had no real set plays (that I could see) in the second quarter, with the exception of a few isolated instances. Norris is the best playmaker on our team, IMHO, and he could have given us a little structure to our offense. At any rate, it would have been better than a bunch of fadeaways from 20 feet out.

Hindsight is 20/20, I guess. But the heaves are getting sort of...ridiculous.
