My son says he doesn't like "Buddy Lee" anymore and wants to be called by my nickname as a kid. (BIG PAUSE) Bootsie! I'm not the only one. What goshforsaken name were you called as a kid by your parents, I promise not to tell anyone.

My older brother often calls me "Shiv" because when I was 6 and he was 8, I stabbed him in the back with a pencil while we were rough-housing. Not serious, but I scared the sh*t out of my parents. My blues bandmates call me "Real Deal". I think it has to do with the tone of my guitar.
I used to be called "oops" because I wore a lot of OP(Ocean Pacific) surfing t-shirts when I was in elementary school. One of my teachers came up with that. I was sort of a teacher's pet to him cause he really liked me as a student and I got favoritism(the good kind). Strangely, this same teacher was accused of some kind of sexual advances toward some of his students. I remember it being a big deal but I always believe it was unfounded. He used to have kids(all of us basically) occassionally over to his pad and we would do stuff...like sit in his hot tub, take group walks on the water, etc. . But, never did he ever come on to me in anyway and I was one of his favorites. I was also damn good looking then, too...lol. So, I believe he was unjustly accused just because he did things with his students that other teachers didn't do at the time. I do believe he had a fling with my sexy female other teacher, however. Later, I took up some Galveston surfing and then internet surfing to arrive at my current nick...hehe. That's my nickname story.
Bo. We have no idea why I was called that for about two years of my life, but I was. My girlfriend calls me Big D*** McGee. We have a good idea why she calls me that.
I don't really have any childhood nicknames (though I wanted to be known as The Microwave during Vinnie Johnson's peak seasons), but I have a relative who's known as Porkchop. If there's a better name than that, I haven't heard it!
Alot of my friends call me OMH (Old Man Harrison). I'm only 24, so not anywhere close to being an old man. They came up with this name because I had a reputation of driving slow and going to bed early. Both of those things have totally changed, but the name still sticks.
At work we have a: Toolbox - Is a play on his last name and him being a tool. Porkchop - Cracked his tooth open on a porkchop bone. Chicken Little / Pigpen - Conspiracy theorist / Nasty Ass. Conan / He Man - Lifts weights like crazy and does steriods. PieEatinFattie is Ray Ray - His first name is Ray and I had a stepbrother named Ray and we always called him Ray Ray.
Robie-dobbie My sisters and mom still call me that. Of course, if you really want some material, you should ask us what names our GF's have given to our.......uh......equipment....in the past.
