last night's game, after steve hit that 2nd INSANE and made the free throw (40.3 left in the game), they were walking to the benches and started playing that funk song. what is it.
was it "the crunge" by led zeppelin? did it sound like a james brown riff? "where is that confounded bridge?"
no that's not it. i don't really think it has words, it's kind of one of those arena sports songs i think. anyway if you have the tape maybe you could rewind it a bit. haha thanks.
I've heard that song before...the lyrics go something like this. "I........dont wanna work, wanna play on my drum all day" Im clipping the play right before it right now...so Ill post back with a link in a few.
regardless, they DO play the guitar riff from "The Crunge", although it sounds nothing like a Zeppelin song, it just sounds like a funky bass riff, thats why I thought it could be that. its just looped over and over, no lyrics involved. someone else back me up here.
you call that FUNK rocketKid? "I don't wanna work, I just wanna bang on me drum all day!." I still hold my ground that "The Crunge" is used in the Toyota Center, maybe not on that play, but during times when we have the ball bringing it up the court, it is a random sound clip that they sometimes play.
