    The last one seems the most obvious to me. Its a street grid for a new development. The first one seems the strangest.

    I'm guessing it's a target area so they can launch missiles, and test the accuracy of their drones. I'm guessing the wide strips let them know the effectiveness of the blast radius? It could also be used to calibrate and test the efficiency of their satellite imaging.

    Or, you know, it could also be a gigantic game of Battleship.
