Not his trade value. His real value. My take is... A large bucket of warm spit. And yours? ------------------
On a related note: as much as everybody hates Cato and as lazy as he is, why is he in Houston in the off-season? ------------------ "How far you go in life depends on you being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak. Because someday you will have been all of these."
RichRocket: Because going home you see......that would require effort. Plus its easier to buy pot in H-town. ------------------ "We make more, but we spend more." Patrick Ewing
No matter how lazy, how disheartened, how clumsy a 7-footer is, they'll always have at leat AVERAGE value. ------------------
How about a Dixie Cup of lukewarm spit? ------------------ "How far you go in life depends on you being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak. Because someday you will have been all of these."
I will reference my quote; "Stuff his a$$ in a trash can and roll him off a cliff" I would be willing to steal the trash can. I dont know if he is actually worth anything. He should pay someone to get rid of him... Like you pay to have your trash picked up. Seriously though we could emphasize his potential and get some picks from somebody... ------------------ Go Rockets!!! SS
I just can't believe you guys. This is pathetic. Cato is very valuable...he's tall enough to change the nets on the goals. Oh wait...that would require him lifting his arms....nevermind. ------------------ I always thought "With my talent, it's only a matter of time before I'm discovered". Now I think "With my talent, it's only a matter of time before I'm found out".
Cato to date has been a totally worthless embaressment as a professional. Afraid we "bought the farm" with him. Our only flicker of hope is if his teammates who are vocal leaders (it's Francis' team now) simply won't tolerate his attitude and laziness. It's obvious the coaches haven't been able to get to him. The money he has been promised and his miserable performance are killing the team. I can't imagine anyone out there dumb enough to take him off our hands.
Hey Shady...do you suppose Stan has room for Cato in the trunk of his car? I know his pregnant girlfriend is already in there, but .... ------------------
Cato will produce next year...it might be in the Rocky Mountain Revue but he will produce. Then he'll chip a nail and be lost for the season. Seriously, I wouldn't give up on this guy yet. It doesn't appear he will be the starter we hoped, but he can still be a decent defensive center. No one will take him so we are stuck with him so let's just hope he decides to assert himself and play like he did before his contract. ------------------
I did at one time have hopes that we could send him to Chicago. My thought we might convince Chicago to give us our two second round picks from the Drew deal now, take Cato in exchange for closing out the Drew deal. That way Chicago would be able to work a deal with their no 1 pick, otherwise their development program would be further sidelined all the while they retain an abundance of cap space. The Chicago head coach was Cato's college coach. The only reason I still cling to it is that they just got their second second round pick within the last few days. Not much hope, but I can still dream can't I? ------------------
LMAO shady...that is the best description I have ever heard of Cato...maybe his nickname should be "the terd". ------------------ Now saw off...there's nothing to see here.
man, i guess im the last one left that thinks that this guy can turn into something. i guess its because he was hurt last season for awhile and then he didnt get enough playing time after that. But im ready to give him one last full season before i deem him a total loser and dissappointment. i still have some faith in him for whatever reason. just one last chance for big kelvin from me. obviously not from all of you. i hope he doesnt read this site... ------------------ Paranoid, trying to stuff the void.
cato please read this thread. cant we find some way to frame cato for something that would make his contract void and then sentence him to utah? ------------------
