I know this is a little selfish cause i want to see him back with the rockets and i know he has a heart problem. But what if he came back and we signed him around the All-star break would that be cool and he could contribute
Mobley = Retired. Maybe he can sign a 1 day contract and retire as a rocket but for what? Its not like his #5 jersey is going to be hung in the Toyota Center rafters
What were you thinking? A'ight,he's done a player in the NBA,now he needs his time with his family and for his health's sake,we SHOULD NOT sign him for nothing.
not only is this a dumb thread but you have to think about it. He is retired yes. If he was to decide to come back we can't sign him because he still belongs to the Knicks. The only way 2 get him is 2 trade 4 him
even if he was cleared later to plau due to a change in his condition, which is very unlikely, but my point is he still belongs to the Knicks since they didn't cut him or release him as far as i know. Unless they changed the rules, if a player retires, that team still holds his rights and has to trade or release him for them to go to another team.
