He failed a physical. Apparently the Grizzlies were going to give him a second chance with another tryout when he got healthy, but I don't think that's happened yet.
He is still around......I think the Rockets may take a look at him when he is healthy...said about 3 weeks .....2 weeks ago...so......???? Either him or McCants would be helpful. DD
I heard a rumor that Von Wafer was abducted by aliens, who flew him around examining his brain, found nothing, and tossed him into DD's backyard. Step outside, DD, and take a look. Wafer's there stumbling around in a daze, a state that suits him. It had the aliens confused at first, until they figured out that that was his normal state. Assuming all Terrans were like him, a "Do NOT Disturb" sign has been posted at the edge of our solar system. Von Wafer may have saved the planet! Hurry, DD, before he wanders away, lost in the labyrinth that is Circle C. You'll find him at a cul-de-sac.
He's apparently in LA according to his twitter. I wouldn't mind seeing Taylor get some minutes but Wafer should be an automatic start. Hopefully this game was a wake up call for Coach. Please change up the lineups.
I got him locked into a private gym, and he is shooting hoops night and day. The only problem is that I keep having to buy new nets, because he burns them up all the time. I may trade him in for Trevor, but I am afraid broken rims might be more expensive than nets. DD
Could be the team will wait till after TMac gets traded. I hope it will not be too late when the deal finally gets done though.
It's really no point to sign him, do you guys really believe Adelman will play him?.. especially since he has budinger, a guy that fits his beloved system.
