VH1 has a show called where are they now. I thought I would do that with people I haven't seen on the show and maybe get some answers from the BBS posters. If I can think of anymore I'll post them in this thread. If you have any you want to know about post them in this thread and maybe somebody could answer your "What Happened to". 1. Dominique Moceanu She was supposed to be the star figure in the 1996 Olympic Games yet had a subpar performance and was upstaged by the Keri Strug story. She used to reside in Houston byt what happened to her? 2. Macaulay Culkin He was the star of "Home Alone" and "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York". He raked in millions and then just dropped off the map. Where is he? 3. "Saved by the Bell" Cast Sure Zack (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) is currently acting on "NYPD Blue", Kelly (Tiffani-Amber Thiessen) has a role on "Fastlane", and A.C. (Mario Lopez) is a part of "The Other Half" crew but what about the rest of them? 4. Debra Winger She had a role in "Terms of Endearment", An Officer and a Gentleman", and "Urban Cowboy" but what has she done since? 5. James "Buster" Douglas He made a name for himself by knocking out Mike Tyson, a huge upset. Then quickly fell out. Where is he? 6. The Huxtable children? Remember the 5 kids from "The Cosby Show"? What are they up to? 7. Coolio Hit it big with a couple of hit songs (if that many) and now I don't see him anywhere. Where did he go? 8. Alicia Silverstone Made a huge impact with "Clueless" and now is gone. She was a sexy little tart, any word? 9. Juvenile, B.G. Where part of the Cash Money Records machine when it was first getting big. They left the record company but now what are they doing? 10. "Police Academy" Cast From Steve Guttenberg (Mahoney) to Kyle McLachlan. Anybody have anything on these guys and girls?
Jesse Spano was on CSI the other night in a brief part. She's also acted in such films as Woody Allen's The Curse of the Jade Scorpion in recent years.
Oh, and Screech tours the country doing stand-up comedy now. He is, sadly, painfully unfunny in what I've seen of his act.
Elizabeth Berkley was in Showgirls, as was Kyle McLachlan. You can't really expect your career to recover from that. Dominique Moceanu went the way of 99.9999% of olympic athletes, nowhere. Buster Douglas got a video game and then his career was over. Rachman will do the same, though without the video game. McCauly Culkin got replaced by the new generation of child stars. If he is lucky he will get a career in p*rn like that kid from the Toy. Steve Gutenburg was never funny, except as a brief mention in the Stonecutters song. Kim Catrall from Police Academy is on Sex and the City. CMM was a joke and no one affiliated will have a significant future, IMO.
Screech beat up Horshack on Celebrity Boxing, and Coolio won Celebrity Bootcamp. Elizabeth Berkley does bit parts nowadays. I saw her on CSI a couple of weeks ago and she was on the Twilight Zone before that. I have no idea what Lisa Turtle is up to.
I don't know if he is a star, but yeah Scotty Schwartz did some adult films, or they said he did on E! True Hollywood Story.
Coolio is struggling to maintain his B level celebrityness. He is a regular on "Hollywood Squares", the place where once upon a time celebrities go to die. I'm sure he'll show up in "I'm a Celebrity get me out of here 2" or "Surreal Life 2" The fantastic voyage ended years ago.
i'm tempted to make a joke about that whole "stick your tongue to the frozen pole" part of Christmas Story..but I think I'll refrain. "stuck..stuck...STUCK!!!"
LMAO. Actually, if I remember correctly, Bates (who was Flick, not Schwartz) was only a walk-on in the p*rn films. He didn't actually get in on any of the action. How low do you have to get to be a walk-on in a porno flick?
Let's be fair. Gutenburg was in one of the best movies of all time, <b>Diner!</b> And he' s actually pretty fun it. But after that, you're right. MaCaulay Kulkin is starring in a new indie film called Party Monster. I haven't heard many good things about it, but it's supposed to be pretty dark.
