    NENE?

i know nobody likes trade threads... and i don't know if anybody has started one on this guy... but he is going to be a monster PF... a physical body with Ming is the greatest waekness at this point... if we are to play the JVG system there has to be someone physical down the middle... i have said all along we have to much of the ORLANDO SYNDROME IN US... Howard/Lue/(Taylor)/Gaines/ these guys are horrible b-ball players(no all round game to them)...you gotta have guys who have roles Howard and Taylor have the same roles so its redundant for us to keep both these guys... Lue and Gaines should not be in the NBA... Jim Jackson(over-rated) and two first rounders??... i wish we gave away Jiimy instead of Cuttino.:(

Yeah!! Cuttino was loyal and play with heart. He love the Rockets but they betray him, i don't see he comming back in the furture.

I don't know why anyone would be so convinced that Nene' will ever be more than a scrub.

The guy cant rebound, can't block shots, cant shoot free throws and his offense is limited to dunking.

There is a reason that Denver signed K-Mart in the off-season.

the guy is soo young ... learning process for big men takes time???NO?...its not like we're gonna contend for the championship this year...there are quite the few holes on this club...nene could grow along with Ming...building a dynasty takes time.

His attitude and work ethic don't fit a JVG style system and i don't think he is going to grow more than he already has really.

He has shown that he can score but thats about it...that's why is riding the pine right now...

We need a rebounder and a banger down low and he isn't any of those things.

He is a finesse big man and won't really help us anymore than Mo or Howard.

Stack24...then who would you suggest???...who is on the trading block...Chandler(he's shown less than what Nene has)

My second choice would be ... yes Karl Malone...some leadership on this team is needed...Mutumbo can't speak...Ewing is an idiot...so there is nobody really there who can be on the court and teach Ming and Tracy the tricks of the trade.

    Stack???????????????

    Finesse??????????

We're talking about Nene not Camby. I haven't seen too many Nugz games but it sure looks like to me that Nene is a physical player, a good defender and shotblocker. I kinda thought his offense was a little bit limited to the rim. Are we watching the same player?

I liked Nene's game when he was a rookie. He did show that he could bang and play and would actually do some damage.

lately he has become a whinny player and doesn't do jack. Maybe that is becuase he wants to start but he isn't going to while Martin is there.

He will be moved eventualy but i don't think he is an answer to our PF problem. He doesn't rebound that well to warrent a spot on this team. He is a scoring guy and that's what we dont need.

I guess my use of finesse was more to the fact that he is a scorer and stuff...don't mean it in the sense of playing like a girl lol..

My wish list PF would be S. Swift. He can rebound and block shots and he's a decent scorer. Although I don't think there's a chance in heck that CD could pull this off, or for that matter, that we can gather the necessary funds to get him down the road. But, like I said, it's just a wish. ;)

This might be one of the worst posts I have ever seen.

Not just for being clueless and implying Nene has shown more than Chandler but also for suggesting Karla as well??????

Thank GOD you aren't a GM.

I don't know where you get that from. Chandler is light years ahead of Nene'

    Chandlers stats for December are:

    Per game 12.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals, 1.17 blocks, 13 points, 563% f/g, 774% f/t

Nene' can not approach those numbers.

Chandler is going to be a stud in this league and he is only 22 years old. I would offer both of our picks this year plus any single player on our team outside of T-Mac and Yao for him.

I wonder if Kwame Brown is on the block after his one game suspension. After Chandler and Swift, the pf that I'm most intrigued in is Brown. Even though he's been considered a collossal bust, his career rebounding average is still better than Mo in less mpg, and his rebounds per minute is decidedly better than Howard. If we could put him next to Yao and T-Mac, so he doesn't have the pressure to be a star, then I really think he could develop into something good. Sometimes a change of scenary is just what some players need. Kind of like *cough*cough* Eddie Griffin.

If Ewing is so much an idiot, why has Yao improved statistically in offense after his rookie season? I have seen Ewing talk to Yao about keepin his elbows out and the ball up. This is a dramatic chasnge from his rook season. Give Ewing a break. He's an all star and future hall of famer, I think the man knows basketball more than most people on this board.
