Its all about Chemistry............... AB + KM don't work....you either move KM or AB.....end of story. Together, their defense is worse on paper and on the court.
It doesn't matter whether or not AB's points come against 2nd stringers or starters, but Lowry's D has the possibility of making a difference against an opposing guard while AB flat out has no D. I agree that we need both of them at this time since both of them suck by themselves. Any team with AB as one of its top 2 options is lottery bound. We saw this last season when Rockets actually played with intensity every game and this year we see it again, especially when his shots don't fall.
So whats wrong with coaches decision to just play Brooks and if defense becomes a problem, just sub in Lowry?

Because the coach never made that decision. As it has been quoted numerous times already, Adelman said he will start start Brooks when he returns.
I think ultimately who will lose out when AB comes back is going to be either Bud or C-Lee. It doesn't matter who starts at the PG spot, but one of our best lineups last year was when AB and Lowry were on the floor together, which puts pressure on the backup 2/3 spots for minutes.
I never once heard Rick say.......Rafer you shouldn't start in public...but his ass was shipped out for......Lowry.
Yea, probably went somehting like this: Video Assistant: "Hey Morey, Lowry makes flashy plays, have you thought about trading Brooks and making him starter?" Morey: "Playoffs 09" Video Assistant: "Oh right, nm"
This is a good problem to have That means to one of them could potentially packaged for another player at a position of need.
I bet not. If this were westbrook vs brooks or rose vs brooks or even hill vs brooks, we might have some debate, but lowry isn't as good as brooks no way,no how on any planets or league.
I saw the same thing, AB's team lost to lakers, and Lowry's team defeat the same lakers with the 10 points. Maybe it was not the guard's issue, that loss was due to Yao as someone constantly argues because Yao played that game and not this game.
Dirty little secret...........it's because Lowry didn't play into the Lakers hands. Brooks did. They finally started trapping Brooks and getting the ball out of his hands and then it was lights out for us, because Brooks was a sieve on the other end.
Or maybe it was because we didn't play Jordan Hill? Or maybe it was because Pau Gasol wasnt sick/injured? Or maybe it was because Lee/Miller were not fully acclimated to what we are trying to do here?
