As Clipper get Randolph, and they have Camby

So we have the chance to get Kaman to be Yao's backup.

We pick up Kaman and who would you suggest that the rockets give?

Kaman is too expensive to be a backup C. Unrealistic I think.

Kaman is starting material. It would be such a waste for him to be a back-up.

Dikembe is the one I want backing up Yao! That old man was one hell of a cheerleader and a great locker-room guy. And besides, he can still play.

If the Clippers will trade someone, I tihnk it'd be Camby. Camby has sucked for them.

We need someone who won't shake up the roster. Deke is an option, always. But I think we should try and get someone younger who we can use as Yao's backup for the next 3-4 years. Someone who we can depend on more after each season.

Here are my favorite scenarios in order:

    1) Head for Mouhamed Sene or Johan Petro. I'm not sure which one they value more, but I would take either of these. Sene seems to have more potential.

    2) Head for Francisco Elson (Bucks). I think we can rely on this guy for a few years to be a decent backup.

    3) Francis, Hayes and Head for Dan Gadzuric. His contract is 3 years and fairly pricey, but he is an excellent backup C. I think he wold be a nice fit, and although he's pricey, we could seriously afford to rest Yao and allow Dorsey to develop while he's around.

I've combed the rosters of all teams in the league, and these are the only non-complicated scenarios I could come up with.

No way am I willing to give up Hayes. He is by far our best post defender.

Do you really want this guy on your team.......

I am not buying the fact that he was misdiagnosed for ADD (or the medications he took turned him this way)... He just act/look too weird on the basketball court...

After watched the Olympic Games China vs. German, I found Kaman is more efficient than Bogut

And maybe we can take two C (s) in the court at one time

one in the free throw line, and the other in three-second area

    exciting

We have people in our roster that Clippers could use.

Clippers need swing players and depth.

Battier, Head and Francis could be an option.

    or

Scola, Head and Francis could be an option.

Kaman would get close to 30 minutes a game or more regardless if he starts or not. Plus he can play Center or Power Forward. A front court rotation of Ming, Kaman, Landry and Hayes looks pretty damn good to me.

Plus it would free up another roster spot to re-sign someone like DJ Strawberry as a 3rd point guard in case Rafer or AB had to miss a game or two.

I'm buying the fact that he can give me 15/10. I'd love to have him behind Yao, but he's too costly to be a realistic choice.
