I don't see any e-mail address to write them? Could somebody provide it? Pierce/Fatoine being ranked over T-Mac/Yao is just a downright outrage.
I've just emailed them...hopefully I get a response. This is what I wrote: To MSNBC sports: As a basketball fan, I am very angry and disappointed after reading the article NBA's Dynamic Duos and that to my surprise as well as many other basketball fan that you did not include the combo of Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming of the Houston Rockets. Yao and McGrady had carried their team to where its at today, the 6th best team out of the tough Western Conference and they have just beaten the contending Sonics in their last game by an impressive performance of Yao/T-Mac in the 4th qtr. I just would like to know why you decided not to include them with those other duos? Unless I get some kind of explanation, I would had assumed that its a mistake on your part and if thats the case than the article needs to be fixed. Its ignorant not to have them on there when its obvious T-Mac and Yao are far superior then two of the duo's you've mention. If you had done your homework and factor in statistics and the overall impact they have on their respective team you should know better to have T-Mac and Yao on there. If you're not convince I'm more than happy to send you an unbias comparison of my own to show you statistically and overall impact they have on the league. Thanks you,
Once again the Rox are the Rodney Dangerfield of the sports media. The thing that gets me is that with Hakeem and Clyde when they would get snubbed on things like this one could chalk it up to small market or hype of other players but seriously Yao and T-Mac? Yao's the guy opening the door to a 1.2 Bil market. T-Mac has been one of the most exciting players in the past few years. These guys are better known than most of those on the list. WTF?
better get in line now if you feel you have some leftover Rocket disses in you that need to be let out because the Houston Rockets have been straight dissed 3 times in the pat 18 hrs. Rodney Dangerfield would have sympathy for the Rockets at this moment. Sure he got no respect once or twice in a day but never 3 times in succession like this. The first diss by Barkley and Smith on TNT. The second diss by MSNBC sports. The third diss by nba tv pre-scheduled game 7 Houston/Phoenix game. The Rockets better win tonight, they can't let this slide.
Want to see another dis? Check out the picture of TIM McGRADY. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=hou
Like previously stated, how many other teams had 2 starting teammates in the All-Star Game this year? Right, just the one. I thought that should be restated. WE WILL SHOW THOSE FOOLS!
Maybe they can't decide houston's duo of whether TMac/Yao or TMax/Sura. So they just simply skipped Rockets.
eh, whatever... i dont really care too much about the recognition. let them hate.... just bring back rudy t when we win the championship this yr and have him make his speech.... "i got one thing to say to the nonbelievers, dont ever underestimate the heart of a champion!"
Walker/Pierce?!!! Yeah I'm sure the celtics wouldn't trade that "dynamic duo" for Tmac/Yao...then again it is Danny Ainge.
I voted for that Tracy Duncan guy. He plays real good. And whatshisname Parker, he must be good too, cuz I done saw him in that there all star game, them having two Spurs and all.
Matt Goukass is an idiot. He claims that the big forward position is crucial in the West (Lakers?) when it's a response to the lack of true centers. He never disses Yao outright, but he exposes his true opinion of him. It's cookie cutter sportswriting where he's holding judgement come playoffs (when he's finally forced to watch Rockets games) to cover up his lack personal insight. Why do fans think sportswriters know more than they do?
