Well People were still in the hunt
Seattle lost tonight and so did the Clippers
It is still up for grabs if we can pull out a huge win over the magic it just makes us one step closer!
    All is not lost yet!:)

You sound like me. I was actually rooting for the Lakers tonight and was glad they won...this time. I still haven't given up hope and I guess I wont until they are mathematically eliminated.

    Keep Hope Alive.

Cato last time the Magic came to town we won and it was a very good win also that same time they gave away rally towels and guess what saturday is ralley towel night so could be a good sign!
I never give up hope on my Team unlike some on this forum. I am a die hard Rockets fan!:D

Two keys we must do to stop magic:

    Contain T-mac in the paint
    and stop Mike Miller

Considering Im a huge Tracy Mcgrady fan I wish him well on his stats but I gotta root for my home team!

    I LOVE THIS GAME!

I think its possible, look at the satndings right now:

    6th: Portland 26-23 (we are 9 1/2 gb)
    Utah 27-24 (9 1/2 gb)
    8th: Phoenix 25-25 (8 gb)
    Seattle 25-25 (8 gb)
    10th: Clippers 25-27 (7 gb)

    Rockets 17-33

Looking ahead at the schedule, these are key games that we MUST win, if we want to keep the hopes alive:

    2/26 Clippers
    3/2 @ Phoenix
    3/10 Utah
    3/12 Seattle
    3/18 @ Clippers
    3/22 @ Seattle
    3/26 @ Utah
    3/30 Phoenix
    4/2 Seattle
    4/12 Portland
    4/17 @ Portland

However, we still have to play:

    1 at Milwaukee
    1 at Dallas
    1 at Minnesota
    1 at Lakers
2 against San Antonio (1 at home)
2 against Sacramento (1 at home)

That´s 8 games. If we win at least 3 of thaose games, well...

    Maybe I´m dreaming, but cant´t I?

    I STILL BELIEVE

We can all hope for the best but be sure to prepare for the worst.

I will root for them for sure, but I don't share your optimism.

If Francis doesn't start playing every game then we will not be playing past April 17th.

Put me down in the I still believe category. :)

Put the pipe down, we in alright, more like in the NBA Lottery with 1 ball for the other 20 million. I'm the enternal opptalist (combining opptimist and realist), however this season is a bust and we should trade or plan insert some D and a big man.

Always a believer. It ain't over.

For us to have a chance to make it we need to have 2 things happen: 1)a long winning streak(7 or longer), 2)Finish at .500. (based on where the other teams at the 7th/8th spot are right now.

With those two we will be right there. But right now we are 16 games under! Cmon' Rockets. We still believe!!

I always thought being a Rockets fan meant being optimistic, unrealistic, having a seasons supply of asprin for the headaches watching them will give you, and a nice bottle of your favorite alcoholic beverage handy after the game.

With that being said, i think Rockets STILL have a shot at the playoffs(Optimism), they'll win 15-20 game in a row to get them back in the hunt (Unrealistic). And after each game when i realize my dreams won't become reality i'll be downing my aspirin with Sky Vodka :D :D :D

It's amazing to think of where they would be if they had a 16-4 stretch, which is what happened this time last year.

    They would be 33-37.
