7 minutes left in the fourth quarter, and we're beating Miami 86-70, and Bullard has 24 points.

You sound surprised...! Many of us knew the Rockets could beat this team. From the last score I saw, we're beating them as bad as they beat the Hawks the other night.

    Git 'em, Rocks!

Yeah thanks to the shooting of Bull and everyone's most hated Rocket Cuttino Mobley.

How did the Lakers get on the Rox schedule on 1/30? My schedule doesn't show that game.

    I'm surprised about Bullard.

    Bullard 24, Mobley 18, Williams 13, Francis 10, Thomas 9, Dream 9, Anderson 7, Cato 3, Drew 6, Grey 2.

Houston wins 101-88, and I have to admit, I'm a little surprised, but thrilled. Their turn-around is real.

I wouldn't say that we've completely turned the corner just yet, but the W against another "good" team like the Heat definitely builds on it though.

We're definitely on the right track. I'm very worried about Minnesota though. There isn't a player in the league like Kevin Garnett. Mourning is good, but he doesn't bring the versatility KG does. If we can get past Minnesota, then, there is hope for the after-season.

I thought the Rockets made a statement tonight....What a strange season. It's truly scary with the right moves and some minor tweaking, this team could be ready to contend within two years.(who knows maybe sooner!)I will root them on this year as always, but With an open eye for the future.I say,Lets make those playoffs. You never know when all the components will work like a well oiled machine.Rudy is really starting to kick it in gear and even more importantly Stevie and Shandon are taking over this team on the court.Definitely, the leaders. Go Rockets!

Not know about Bullard ? This team is doing what good teams do, every night someone else has a personal high in some dept. Bullard is going off cuase it's time. Can you believe Miami just kept sagging off on him after the first two threes dropped ? That looked crazy. We blasted this team with Francis, Anderson and Pig having sub-par offensive games tonight. ( i,e, Pig drops in shovel passes under the basket . : )
Where are the Rudy Bashers anyway ? Oh, I forgot, Hakeem is playing, so the team is leaning on him as a crutch and Rudy gets to go along for the ride. That's the Deal.

Being the eternal optimist and always trying to keep a positive attitude about my beloved Rockets, I just can't express how thrilled I am to see them coming around like I knew they would.

I'm right there with ya BlastOff, keep it humble and hungry my brotha!

The key for the Rockets is a winning attitude and mentality which can only be had by winning basketball games.

Definitely a key test for the Rockets: seeing how they respond to aggressive doubling of Francis.

After the success Toronto and Utah had, it was pretty obvious other teams were going to try it. This time, Francis did not get frustrated and we had overall better team preparation for dealing with it. Excellent...I'm thrilled.

Notice one thing about using 3ptrs to beat double teams: When we used the low post to create the double team, the 3 ptr shooter was often two passes away. With the guards drawing double teams, the 3 pt shooter is often an immediate pass away. Francis threw directly to an open Bullard several times last night.

Now our next test is aggressive doubling of Francis where we beat it without 3pt shooting.
