Last night, I had a very vivid dream that I was stuck in an elevator with a guy I work with. We had to use the 'call' phone and they had to rescue us with ladders. So.... when I get to work this morning, guess who I see waiting by the elevator. Yep, same guy. This guy doesn't even work in my building, so it's not like I see him every day. More like once a month or so. That's what was so weird. THEN, as the elevator door opens, there is plywood all along the walls, ceiling and floor and the ride up to my floor was very rough. The guy even mentioned it by saying "Man, I hope this thing makes it up to my floor." Really weird to have a very random dream like that, then have it almost come true. The brain is a strange and mysterious piece of flesh. Does this happen to anyone else? And save the predictable "I think you are gay" replies.
A couple of nights ago I had a dream that the good-looking records clerk at work was a blimp (a real one that flies around), and I was flying her all over the country.
oooh I love these threads because I have the gift of dream interpretation. The elevator is your ladder of success... the man does not represent a single threat to you, but his randomness means that you feel threatened by more than a few people at your job, so it could be anyone. The guy in the elevator with you is saying "If this thing goes down you're going down with me" The ladders you are rescued with also represent your climb up the corporate world. The drummer inside of you does not want to climb that ladder... but you have to just to escape the reality that is the life (elevator) that isn't going anywhere. The plywood is the red herring... it means you should take a gun to work and slaughter everyone.
i once dreamt that my sister was shot. i remember tearing up for a good couple of minutes after waking up in the middle of the night.
Ok, this isn't really a dream, but can someone explain it. While driving and listening to the radio I noticed a billboard for Pioneer Homes. At the exact same time as I'm reading "PIONEER" the person on the radio uses "pioneer" in his sentence. I've had that happen with other words many times before.
last night I dreamt that I was listening to the radio and they reported that we traded Battier and Bonzi to Memphis and somehow got back Villaneuva (so clearly a 3 way deal somehow) Weird.
a couple of nights ago i had a dream where i was barefoot and stepped in some dog poo (w/ my left foot). i could even smell it im my dreams. it was bothering me so much that i woke up and got out of bed to go to the bathtub and wash my foot. (when i stepped out of bed, i made sure i didnt let the foot touch the floor.) no dog poo but it really felt and smelt like i stepped in a large steaming pile... the brain is strange and mysterious... i wonder if there is any significance to this dream...
I had the most symbolic dream anyone has ever had in the history of dreams. Walk into a room, chinese woman on the bed I notice when she turns her face that half of it has terrible burn scars. She is wearing all white and not talking. Then looking out the window I see a snake and monkey chasing each other around in a tree.
stay away from Chinese women, they will burn you, and leave you at the altar. you lust after monkeys. you are a freak. I charge $50 for dream interpretations.
I bought a Scola jersey at the game on Saturday, and that night I dreamt that I was at a Rockets game during warm-ups, except in the lower bowl, and there was a huge hoard of fans around me clamoring to get Scola's autograph. Then he spotted me and pointed at my jersey, and screamed, "YOU!" very angrily. I got excited, thinking that he would autograph it, thinking that I was sooo special because I was the only one in the crowd with a Luis jersey. He grabbed the front of the jersey roughly and pulled a sharpie out of his hair and signed it angrily and mechanically. Then he pushed me away really hard and I fell down. What does my dream mean???
That's what they call synchronicity. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synchronicity It happens to me every few days, and usually is followed by something negative. For other people, good things happen, but I've kind of noticed that bad things happen to me after having some sort of synchronicity.
The woman with a burn mark represents your relationships, and the two-faced nature of your actions. She is wearing white which means she is innocent and you are the one to blame. Her silence is a microcosm of what is wrong... no communication. The snake chasing a monkey really isn't much more than a simple representation of the evil that will eventually catch up to your mischief.
I had a really bizarre one last night. I woke up (in the dream) floating on my mattress out in the ocean. I was at the beach, but further out than I have ever swum. Somehow I get back to shore, and I start walking home carrying this mattress with it resting on top of my head. I am in Santa Cruz, because I can see the rides at the Boardwalk as I am walking (even though there is no place that looks like the area I am walking through from which you can see the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Suddenly all of this red fruit starts falling from the sky. I see some trees that it is growing on, but the fruit is falling from all over the place, not out of the trees. I ask some people where it is coming from and no one else knows either. Somebody takes shelter under my mattress and helps me finish carrying it home, then they take off. Somehow after that I end up at an amusement park (but not the same one I saw earlier) and there is a bum there asking if I have any spare change. I reach into my pockets, find none, and tell him I have no change at all. I wander around for a bit but don't go on any rides, and then I start to leave. That is when I woke up.
While watching the Browns/Ravens game yesterday I was talking with my friend on the phone trying to determine if that crazy field goal was good or not. He said it was good, and the same thing would happen if the ball hit that little camera on the inside of the goal posts and bounced back into the field. I said, "has that ever happened?". He said "no, the odds of that actually happening are very low" and then we laughed. Then last night during the patriots game, the ball hit the camera and bounced back into the field. Crazy coincidence.
The dog poo represents the Astrodome. Your barefoot represents every Houstonian who would enter the Astrodome to watch MLS. The other foot that did not step on the dog poo represent the other Houstonians that were smart enough not to go to the dome for any reason.
one of my weirder dreams was one I had when I was younger and a bit more uninhibited. I dreamt I was uh doing stuff with my gf and when she turned around, it turned out to be her mother. I tried to avoid her house for a few weeks after that.
That's an easy one, you have the Stacy's Mom syndrome. You lust after every gf's mother. You also like taking it up the pooper.
