I never wear a flag pin on my lapel.

Of course, I rarely wear anything that has a lapel unless I'm headed to a wedding or a funeral (I love my job!). But if I did have lapels, I probably wouldn't wear a lapel pin. It's just one more unimportant thing to keep track of... I'm amazed I still have my original wedding ring, but based on the number of pens and watches I've lost, any lapel pin of mine would be long gone after six weeks.

Besides, Obama balls every chance he gets... he can't be worried about some little pin every time he hits the locker room.

If you can't keep track of your OWN pens, how can you possibly run MY country?

Obviously if you don't have a CLEAR POSITION on things that don't matter IN THE SLIGHTEST, you're incapable of making decisions that are IMPORTANT.

The bold part sums up the thread nicely.

sounds like it could be the benefit of affirmative action to me. She admitted to having low SAT scores. Princeton isn't known for admitting types like that...then you bring up the Daley political machine....hmmmm makes ya wonder

Yeah, it makes me wonder how you can disparage someone who graduated from Princeton, then Harvard freaking Law as not too "bright." Of course, you are free to bring up AA all you like, but this woman is more than "bright" if she was able to graduate from those two institutions of higher learning.

EDIT: And then she took jobs in her hometown of Chicago, which you are also apparently disparaging her for. The more you try to smear her, the more your face seems to get covered in manure. I truly hope that these are the tactics the GOP uses to try to win in November.

Everybody knows it's tougher to get into these schools than to get out.

Andy, please, let's ease up on the hateful speech and keep the D&D civil. kthxbye

i'm sure michelle had better credentials than gwb, but that's neither here nor there. it isn't black and white, just because you may have gotten in with extra help from you're back ground doesn't mean you're dumb. so aside from the straw man

    are you okay with legacy

If I recall correctly, she admitted to being disappointed in her scores. That doesn't mean they were low. She could have been expecting a 1550 and only scored a 1430.

This leap from being disappointed to low is interesting.

Now, I may be wrong and maybe she did say she had low test scores, but if so, I'd appreciate a link.

Well, McCain's navy school record was pretty bad, and only got by on legacy. How about that as a barometer?

For the record, I don't really care much about what McCain did when he was young. People change over time, and I'd much rather talk about what McCain has done recently, and what he's likely to do if he becomes president.

This whole thing with Michelle Obama is ludicrous. I don't care who you are, you can't graduate from really any law school without being both intelligience and hard work.
