EG- that guy was the timekeeper. Apparently (someone else who actually saw the game can clarify this) he was thanking him for sounding the buzzer after he launched the shot. Correct me if I'm wrong, please. Great shot, though.
Okay, I found the answer to my question by reading some other threads. I was beginning to think there for a minute that EJ was an assistant coach, but he is one of the Suns announcers. I wonder why he's with the Suns other than the fact that they offered him a job?

Perhaps that Phoenix timekeeper is the same guy from the Jazz series in '94 that didn't start the clock for about 15 seconds? Great shot by Mooch...Believe in the power of the 'fro...
