I was just wondering wouldn't it be better to send jt down to the DL to get pt and experieance rather than ride the bench. IMO it would be a good experiance for him that way he won't get rusty.

i'd rather he practice with NBA starters than more PT against scrubs not in the league.

there's little doubt that he'll finally end up in the d-league now that wafer was signed.

well, maybe they'll wait until bud comes back, but by then he'll definitely be in the d-league (or traded).

Ya I think the Wafer signing pretty much takes JT out of the rotation for now. I would rather have him go to the D league and see what kind of numbers he can put up when given significant minutes, if that an option.

the DL is a great option for him. the rockets are the sole owners of the vipers, meaning they run the rockets system. if JT joined them, he could learn the offense and defense then rejoin the rockets as a smarter more experienced player.

Dorsey sighting on the bench. Does that mean he's swapping places with Taylor?

he still may get sent to the DL after the wafer signing...but some guys, like dorsey, have been taught as much as possible and now just need PT to put everything they've learned into play and get reps. JT may still have a lot to learn about the game and the team may feel like keeping him on the active roster for now will teach him what he needs and the PT will come later.

Yeah, with McGrady slowly but surely returning to workable form and signing Wafer, JT is pretty much guaranteed a spot on the Vipers. Could be good for him.

What?!? JT hasn't been in the rotation.

I think they are now giving him a look and letting him compete with Wafer for the time available. Right? JT looked pretty good tonight vs the Clips.
