what i was actually thinking while watching this was that

either dale davis, reggie evans, or jerome? james would help us out greatly.

probably evans, davis, james in that order....

I have seen enough of Seattle (even excluding this game) to rest on the opinion that they are not that good a team. I wanted us to so badly expose them next Tuesday but it looks like Gstate is about to spoil that for me - I still hope they beat GS.

I will be really mad if we lose to them - cos we will be losing to a team not as good as ours. This game here is making me mad too because I want them to beat GS and there is still time to do that.

DAMN! How many offensive rebounds/tips are the Warriors getting!

WOW., They are relentless on the glass. Davis is having a great game.

Its cool seeing Mario Elie on the bench (assistant coach for GS). I know he and Mullin are good friends (its why he wore #17), and Chris looked out for him by making the hire.

Elie is going to be a head coach someday in this league (probably in GS, if Montgomery gets fired), and he's gonna be one firery guy over there on the sideline.

Hey... I got to hear them give the Rockets some love... glad I watched the meaningless final 5 seconds.

ESPN giving much love to the Rockets right now.

They are talking about how the Sonics have to face the Red Hot Rockets, who have emerged as a tough team.

Talked about how Sura has ignited this team. Mentioned the Sonics havent played the Rockets yet. The said the Rockets are playing Phenomenol Basketball right now, and the Sonics are going to have their hands full right after the break.

i will be PISSED if they start saying how good yao is. because i CLEARLY remember them saying how Yao is not even as good as rik smits, except the guy on the right who was like "wait isn't yao better than rik smit NOW?"

You have to accept it... its mainstream/ESPN sports media at its finest.

Hell... just two weeks ago, they were giving Vince Carter flack for being the leading ASG vote getter in the east. Now, you can't go two seconds without hearing one of them singing his praises, and showing his highlights over and over again.

Legler said that the Rockets are playing the best ball in the league right now. I was shocked to hear him admit it. Plus, the Rockets gained ground on Seattle, Sacramento, and Memphis tonight. No body will have a sweeter All Star break than Rocket's fans. I think we are only 1/2 game behind the Kings, the fifth spot in the West. Even Seattle is within striking distance.

we can't really 'gain ground' on seattle.

they will end up at worst at 3rd no matter what becuase they will win their division.

but home court will rely upon record not who is the higher seed so lets just say but some reason seattle drops a lot of games after the asg break and the 6th seed, whoever it is has a higher record than seattle they will get the homecourt advantage.

watch the 5th seeded team in the east will tank a few games to get the sixth spot so they can get home court against the atlantic division winner

    how so?

they are are 35-15 (.700 ball) and are 2-0 against the spurs, 3-0 against the kings, have split with dallas and phoenix, and 2-0 against miami. so .700 ball with a 9-2 record against the elite of the league. sounds pretty good to me. they started hot, cooled a little, and are back doing well again.
