Q: Did you see Yao Ming on the draft?

A: Yes, I did. I was extremely happy for Yao Ming. It’s disgusting that Barkley’s bad-mouthing him encouraged fans to boo him. If I stayed with Mavericks next season, Yao Ming and I will be both in Texas and we’ll get to see each other again. I know a Chinese restaurant in Houston (All Virtues) that serves very good Peking Duck, I’ll make Yao Ming take me out there.’’

Wang has gained 10 pounds and is working out hard. He's going to stay in the summer league until August even though it sounds like China wants him to come back now.

Also, he says July 1st is when teams can first contact players to join their summer leagues (even though George Williams was obviously contacted earlier) so maybe we'll find out about other additions such as Mouton soon...

I think the New York fans booed Ming because they couldn't have him. As for Barkley, he wasn't nearly as bad as Kenny Smith. Barkley did say that he hopes Ming has a good career.

Yea, it seemed like Barkley was pulling for him to do well, he just couldn't say for sure.
