Could Wang Zhizhi be shipped to the Knicks?
It looks like the Mavs will dump Wang Zhizhi after all. Simon Chen, Wang's advisor, told the Fort Worth Star Telegram that he believes the Mavs will soon work out a sign-and-trade and ship Wang to either the Warriors, Knicks, Raptors or Magic. All of the interested teams have big men they may be willing to part with in order to get their hands on Wang.

He could be a useful bench player and make a marginal difference for any team next year.

If he gets playing time I think he could be a pretty decent center in this league. I think he could help out the Knicks big time.

How can a team with that big of a payroll be that desperate? I have liked the Knicks ever since we won our first championship over them, but man, are they ever screwed up now. Say what you want about our Cato, Rice, Taylor et al contracts, but the Knicks prove 1) that this is harder than it looks and 2) it can always get worse.
