Free Von Wafer! :grin: I like Taylor too but i really haven't seen him do much but dunk, I remember being proud of our teams swagga when we had Von and Ron Ron, Von has passion and he played great against the Lakers.
when Taylor hits a clutch shot to beat a playoff finals contender like the Celtics in the last minute of the game, i will START thinking about them being a comparison. with the way Taylor plays, and the current Rockets roster getting more and more beefed up and healthy, i doubt Taylor will be put in at the last 50 seconds of the game. would rather trust Aaron Brooks. give credit where credit is due, people. Wafer had a long career of benches before he finally got his chance, and proved himself when he finally got PT. it's a success story that doesn't happen often. i doubt Taylor can last that far. if he does, kudos to him. i'd be surprised.
Why is Wafer still in topics? This guy is long gone and he just had one stint with Houston two seasons ago. I don't understand why people still bring him up like he still plays with Houston. Wafer just had one decent year with Houston but he is a ball stopper and his IQ is horrible. Plus he is incredibly stupid for turning down an NBA's contract for more money to play overseas which he terribly regrets because now, he can barely get 10 day contract.
