does the league actually think watching D Wade shooting is enjoyable for the fans..... the softness of the calls he gets is beyond a joke
exactly. where would he be in the mid 90's when you had guys like derek harper, mario ellie, etc... who were masters of the hand check.
The Magic were lucky to win this one. It never should have been close enough for a Wade eruption to force OT. Someone just stick a fork in the Heat and declare them dead.
I clicked on that at work. That was not very cool. Edited to add: Maybe someone stole his account and is messing with it?
this is just false....let me be the first to say that once upon a time the game was a "little" more physical (hand checking being the primary reason for that), but I hate watching all these guys on ESPN and NBA TV saying how they were allowed to anally rape a guy and get away with it......sometimes people get too caught up in the "good ole days" and glamourizing the past.....yes the Pistons were physical with Jordan, BUT Jordan always got his fair share of the calls (Piston fans will tell you this)...the superstar call has been around since the existence of the NBA......Wade gets no more calls than Jordan, Kobe, Bird, etc.......all you have to do is take a look at the avg. amount of FT attempts they receive per season.......I was watching an old video of Jordan playing against the Cavs in '88 or '89 I believe and he went to the line 20 + times in that game....was he fouled?...sure, but there were plenty of times where the slightest of contact sent him to the foul line....................point is, don't get caught up in the glamourizing the past.

like I said superstar calls have been around before D. Wade......hell MJ's last shot included an obvious as hell push off of Byron Russell.........
Wade gets calls that are completely sickening though. above and beyond superstar calls. tmac/yao dont get superstar calls... do they have to win a ring first?
I'll admit that Yao gets shafted A LOT.....part of it is because the refs suck and part of it is, because of Yao not being aggressive enough.......I think Tmac would get more calls if he drove more often though........
