Since this is getting so technical it's borderline comical, 15 months ago Kerry Collins led the Titans to 13-3. We can leave it at that. If you think dude forgot how to play football in that amount of time, fair enough, but I'd argue to say it looks like Kerry has forgotten less about football than Vince has learned in that amount of time.
Okay??? Do you want me to get on my knees and apologize for all my failures??? I screwed up, I admit it and I did it again...MY FAULT. I have misspelled other words, forgot a comma here or there and misused a word before...WHO HASN'T??? How about we talk about football and not my spelling or usage errors?
I've been watching Collins since he left Penn St. Its funny how everyone forgets how inconsistent this dude is. He looks like gang busters one season taking Carolina to the NFC championship, the next year he's being run out of town. this is the same dude who lost his job to vince, vince's rookie year.
And 12 months ago he lead them to 0-6 with a 60 QB rating. And Fisher still thought he was the guy, lol. And for the record, December 2008 to September 2010 > 15 months. Umm, forgotten or not, he hasn't started a game in which the Titans won since December 2008, and his QB rating since then is a grisly 65 or so. Vince hasn't started a victory since....September 12, 2010, and his QB rating since December 2008 is 80-something.
Seriously, you would think that you would have figured it out by now. No one gives a crap about UT or the national championship. It's about douchebag UT fans riding Vince's nuts and going on and on about how the Texans are\were doomed forever and ever because they didn't draft your precious. Had it ended at the draft it would have been one thing but for several years we heard about it every ****ing week. The Texans made the right decision then and are reaping the benefits. I know it's difficult for you and other UT nerds to believe that the world doesn't revolve around your stupid school but guess what, it doesn't.
How many games is that, compared to his career? Like I already said, the ass-end of 2009 wouldn't exactly be a great sample to judge someone off of. Another cherry picked stat for you, what was Vince's QB rating against winning teams in 2009? I'm guessing it's not great. We can play this game all day, but no matter what we think... it will be interesting to see who ends up going at the end of the year, Jeff or Vince.
I don't know and don't care, all I know is that Collins career as a viable starter is pretty much over in the NFL, and has been since December 2008 and Young's is not, notwithstanding a bad few quarters against Pittsburgh.
You forget, 15 months ago at age 36 he was only 6 months removed from a very good season. Contrast that with Vince who hasn't led the league in QB efficiency since September 18, 2010.
It looks to me like the Titans have seen more success with Collins than with Young. But really, it's like choosing between a douche and turd. Even when you win, you really lose.
NVM I found it. <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/hFpnxVrT8Js?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/hFpnxVrT8Js?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
Sure, over the last 18 games, they are something like 10-5 with one, 80 QB rating, and 0-6 with the other, with a 60 QB rating. SAME SAME
I know one team that has particular problems against the turd sandwich, being 0-4 against them in its career, and the turd sandwich was last seen burning past a deca-durabolin enhanced tackling manboob sandwich to the corner repeatedly on 3rd down, to add another moment moment of knife twisting. If that is indeed a turd sandwich, I shudder to think what those lads might be labeled.
Well this conversation has devolved nicely. At least our manboob doesn't get benched routinely for an old, wrinkly manboob...
