You guys see where Vince is talking playoffs next year, and Carr is talking about just getting a chance to be on the Texans? That sums it up nicely I think. DD
I think Young's record shows that he's a more than adequate NFL QB when given the right system. Chow and Fisher deserve a lot of credit for being flexible for crafting an offense that works for Young and furthering his development but if Young hadn't had he innate talent and skills to begin with no amount of coaching would've brought him this far.
congrats. Isn't hard to win O-ROY for Quarterbacks? It usually goes to Running Backs, and probably WRs, and TEs too. It defintely showed on the field this season. I think VY should thank the drunk Racist named Kerry Collins for sucking it up. But bottom line, good job to Vince.
have all of you been to the official site? vince young official site The flash intro video is great!!!! H-Town rap is playing during it, NOBODY represesents H-town so hard. Also on the main page: "Reliant, you see, maybe the texans house, but it's Vince Young's home"
I think they said that Vince was the second QB in the 50 years of the award to win it; the other was Roethlisberger.
Even more reason to love the ROY Houston native Vince Young, named the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year on Wednesday, threw autographed footballs into the stands during a timeout. The former Texas star was wearing a Tracy McGrady jersey and a Rockets baseball cap. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap;_ylt=ArcCeVIHjUsQkENd5mqBtyW8vLYF?gid=2007010310&prov=ap
He still seems to love it here. Maybe there is a small chance that he can sign as a free agent down the line.
