I'm torn

I am NOT a VY fan.

But I am also not a fan of the whole Sabermetrician (Football version) argument that there is NOTHING a player can contribute that doesn't show up on a statsheet.

People who believe that have read more stat sheets than watched football games.

This IS something to be said for leadership and other intangibles, and VY apparently has more of it. Still this week....Go Texans!

Merril Hoge is one of the worst analyst ESPN has. All he does is suck on Steeler balls.

 

I have never said anything against VY as a player or a person.

But I would like the Texans to destroy him on since they are the Houston NFL team just the the Rockets are the Houston NBA team and the Astros are our MLB team.

But the Rockets and Astros have been here longer and have done more to earn your fandom and loyalty.
That's why when you walk around town, you see kids with Tmac, Yao, Roger Clemens Jerseys. And tons of Vince Young Longhorn jerseys. College Football is very popular and lots of people in Houston went to college at UT ( You will feel ORANGEBLOODS Reliant Stadium!).
Until Mario Williams turns into Reggie White, not many kids are going to wear Williams jersey.
