You can look up your polling location here:

I urge everyone to go out and vote tomorrow. The future of our great city is in your hands.

Personally, I voted early a couple of weeks ago. The only problem is that when I vote early, I do it at the Fiesta on South Main @ OST, and I wind up dropping $50 in groceries after I'm done voting!

Rush still stands as my second favorite concert band ever.

And if you don't vote, you don't have any right to b**** about the result.

I could not vote and still complain about the lack of real choices I have in the American two party system.

That would be legal wouldn't it?

I urge people to not vote if they don't want to vote. All this get out the vote stuff is highly overrated. If you're not well-educated on who's in the election (like me and, frankly, most people), you may as well flip a coin.

If you don't know, just read up...

    http://www.lwvhouston.org/VotersGuide03/vgframe.htm

That is the League of Women Voters Guide. I do my research on candidates and issues using this guide every year and take a "cheat sheet" with me to the voting booth.

Anyone with regular access to the internet can easily find information on all candidates and issues. And, even if some of the candidates aren't great, vote for the one's you like and skip the one's you choose not to vote on. You can do that on ballots.

Come on, Jeff. Give us your opinion of who you think we should vote for and why. Most of us don't follow the local issues that closely.

I'm not big on going over that stuff in here. It's just too divisive.

I'll just say that I am voting for some repbulicans, some democrats and some independents. I'm trying to pick, in each race, who I think will do the best job, not necessarily whose politics I agree with the most with a few key exceptions to that rule.

As for rail, that has been argued about enough. :)

    Yeah, sorry about that. :D

I meant to vote this morning but I overslept. Now I have to do it after work. Hopefully all the old folks in The Heights will have already voted come 6 o'clock and my polling place won't be too crowded.
