It would be an embarrassment for Tmac and Ron to make it in as starters. Neither one has the numbers to back it up, and both have missed significant time. They both know they dont deserve it, and if anything it just solidifies the argument that Yao doesnt belong cuz it is only the Chinese vote getting him in every year.
I vote for Ron to rest his ankle as much as possible. He isn't worthy of the ASG anyway. Yao is the only guy on our team that deserves to go. I would rather he rest though as well.
Exactly. They clearly don't deserve to be all-star starters. If they do get in, it will just belittle what Yao has done to deserve his spot on the all-star team.
That would be more cause for embarrassment than anything else, especially since we would go down in history as the team that forced the NBA's hand in changing the voting rules.
sorry but there's better out there. all star game should consist of the BEST players. artest is good but not the best. he does not deserve it.
I think the embarrassment is more on the NBA than on the Rocekts for allowing fans to control the outcomes of all star voting. I lost interest in the ASG long time ago because the tern "all star" doesn't mean much of anything.
