In the game he was showing some nice offensive skills, pretty good handles and give effort on defense, so i do some research on it.

    http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Von-Wafer-179/

Looks like the offense part is always a strong point for him, while his defense is suspected.

And his a career .136 3p shooting in the nba.
And the handles? Check the box score, 2 assist, 2 turnovers.
Which is his average during his nba career, 1-1 assist per turnover.

Just for the fun of comparison, Head got 4 assist, 2 turnover and
    barry 8 assist,1 turnover.

And i still thing that with the likes of yao, tmac and artest, along with scola, landry and barry.
The most important skill set for rox PG, is defense.

Hence i'm a little bit reserve for von Wafer, so lets wait a few more games before we jump on his bandwagon.

for any NBA player, the most important skill set is shooting.

when you can not shoot, you can choose to play defense.

Don't know much about him, but if we do sign him, I want to see none of this.

Funny how its a former rocket over a rocket.

Von had a pretty good game vs the spurs tonight. I would definitly take him over strawbery. I think he deserves a spot. Yeah yeah i know how scarse spots are....But think of him coming right behind rafer and aaron.

I won't be surprised if Kirk played in CBA the coming season.

Wafer has a nice, high release on his jump shot.

Who are you, the president of Luther Head's fan club. Anybody can see that Head just plain sux in every aspect in the game (even shooting). At least Wafer can have a good game in the preseason, unlike Head.

Von Wafer looked pretty solid today. Maybe he'll get more time against Boston.

LOL so is that the latest excuse to Head's sucking? Lets just all blame Utah and act like he's good against everyone else.

von definitely has a better mid range game than head though and it's not even a question.

I think PG will be in the order of Alston, Barry, and either Brooks/Head/Wafer.

IMO Wafer needs a trade to go down for a better chance at being kept on the roster.

Adelman is claiming he's happy about the Rockets PG situation but he wants more size in the frontcourt as he did when Yao went down last season.

The Nets are terribly loaded with talent and young players in their frontcourt. They have 6 players who can cover PF and 5 who can cover C. NJ media are reporting the Nets like Ryan Anderson's play over Yi and might start him or play him ahead of Yi. This could mean Sean williams is headed to the end of the pine...

    Nets have a $1,262,520 TE.

    TE for Brooks
    Sean Williams for Hayes/Head

    Harris, Dooling, (Brooks)
    Carter, CDR, Hassell, <strike>Ager</strike>(waived)
    Simmons, Najera, Hayes
    Boone, Anderson, Swift
    Lopez, Yi, (Hayes/Head)

    Alston, Barry, Wafer
    McGrady, (Head/Hayes), Francis
    Artest, Battier, Harris
    Scola, Landry, Dorsey
    Yao, (Williams)

Wafer has what the rockets need. Finishes strong on the break (other than tmac, he seems to be the only other guard on the roster than can dunk), pops and shoot and can hit the three.

Someone mentioned one dimensional here ealier, i hope he was refering to luther head. I mean how many guys do we have that can pop and shot so efficiently. save a spot for the guy, weve got enough PFs. I'd even take him over steve, steve cant pop and shoot
