Been about 12-13 years for me. I got sick in the mid '90s and threw up a couple of times. Before that, I hadn't thrown up since around 1983. I don't like vomiting and hope I never do it again.
Jesus, dude. That's hard-core. For me, it's been since 1994 when I was playing a gig at some dive in Conroe, had too much to drink and spewed all over my guitar players guitar. Good times.
I'm lucky to go around three months without some upchuck. Sensitive stomach, ulcer, inflamed instestines...all due to stress, and of course alcohol. I just due it, get it over with and pop a beer. Nothin' to it.
I lose again. It wasn't big or anything, but I chucked up a bit. I was laying down watching tv, and i start getting this tight feeling in my chest, and start coughing. It's this sensation where it feels like I can't breathe, which scares the **** out of me. I took some deep breaths when I could to ease myself. And then i threw up a bit. I really need to get checked out. I think I have phlegm in my lungs and throat area. I hear Mucinex works?
Have you gotten that check up yet? You really should. Due to some heavy convincing by my mother and gf I finally got some blood work and an MRI done last week.
about 6 months ago...I drank 3 cans of Monster one night because I had to stay up all night, needless to say, not a great idea (but I did stay up and finish my project!) In the morning I felt terrible and threw up - it was just monster and stomach acid..
About 3 years when I had a dozen or so shots of Grey Goose Vodka. Aside from that, I think I've thrown up like a total of 3 times (including the above) in 22 years.
I threw up last Wednesday night, several times over. And then when I woke up I started throwing up again, but since I had no food it was just gross yellow bile. I took a week off from drinking after that...
Panic attack? That's exactly what happens to me when I have one, especially the nausea after the attack is calming down. It also sounds like you might have Acid Reflux. I have both. Good times.
2 months i think... but once i puked 20 times in one night/morning...it sucked they had to put an IV in me...
My vomit streak is currently less than 24 hours. I made the mistake of eating some (frozen, cooked) meat that a friend passed on to me, that supposedly came from a legitimate source. Of course, no telling how long it spent there. It was weird because my stomach only felt a little full and tight, but my side and back muscles started to really hurt and I wondered what was going on. At least that's all back to normal now that I got rid of that. Usually I end up throwing up a couple of times a year for some reason or other - either food poisoning, illness, or odd situations (too much stress or too much coffee).
Its over. 10 years down the drain. Recap... Saturday Night. Chilling in Austin. I ate a feast of Thai Food, Spring Rolls, Spicy green curry soaked in vegetables... so ****ing good. Then I had some Garlic Parmesan Chips and some Ice cream back at the dorms. Kinda Full. Started drinking. Downed a couple of Buds. Feeling good. Busted out the bottle of Skyy, starting going ape****. I did like 3 straight shots, a screwdriver with like 4 shots worth in it, and then 5 more shots mixed with Red Bull all in about 40 minutes. Feeeeelin it. Go out walking with the finacee and her sister at midnight. We're kicking it in the middle of the football field (Yeah, yeah, in Austin... Dazed and Confused... I know... so ****ing cliche) start drunk-talking out of our asses. Pulled out the Djarum blacks, start taking a drag... ****ing weird ****. I never really smoked them before, and I don't really smoke at all. Then I laid down, started to feel like hell. I stared at the moon, lying flat on my back for 30 minutes trying to come to terms with what was about to happen. Finally I'm like "**** it, Its so cold out here... I need this to happen" Then it happened. I had forgot what it felt like. How violated you feel. Ugh. Oh well, at least I was way too wasted at that point. Left a nice present on the St Eds field. Sorry bout that St Eds.
